O Panie, uczyń z nas narzędzia Twego pokoju,
abyśmy siali miłość tam, gdzie panuje nienawiść;
wybaczenie, tam gdzie panuje krzywda;
jedność, tam gdzie panuje zwątpienie;
nadzieję, tam gdzie panuje rozpacz;
światło, tam gdzie panuje mrok;
radość, tam gdzie panuje smutek.
Spraw abyśmy mogli
nie tyle szukać pociechy, co pociechę dawać;
nie tyle szukać zrozumienia, co rozumieć;
nie tyle szukać miłości, co kochać;
albowiem dając otrzymujemy;
wybaczając zyskujemy przebaczenie;
a umierając, rodzimy się do wiecznego życia,
przez Jezusa Chrystusa, Pana naszego. Amen.

O Lord, make me an instrument of Thy Peace!
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is discord, harmony.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sorrow, joy.

Oh Divine Master, grant that I may not
so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life. Amen

Herr, mach mich zu einem Werkzeug deines Friedens,
dass ich liebe, wo man hasst;
dass ich verzeihe, wo man beleidigt;
dass ich verbinde, wo Streit ist;
dass ich die Wahrheit sage, wo Irrtum ist;
dass ich den Glauben bringe, wo Zweifel droht;
dass ich Hoffnung wecke, wo Verzweiflung quält;
dass ich Licht entzünde, wo Finsternis regiert;
dass ich Freude bringe, wo der Kummer wohnt.
Herr, lass mich trachten,
nicht, dass ich getröstet werde, sondern dass ich tröste;
nicht, dass ich verstanden werde, sondern dass ich verstehe;
nicht, dass ich geliebt werde, sondern dass ich liebe.
Denn wer sich hingibt, der empfängt;
wer sich selbst vergisst, der findet;
wer verzeiht, dem wird verziehen;
und wer stirbt, der erwacht zum ewigen Leben. Amen.
